Chaka Salt Lake

Located in Chaka Town, Wulan County, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, there lies a magical salt lake – the Chaka Salt Lake. Famous for its unique “Mirror of the Sky” landscape, the lake displays a dreamlike blue hue. Under the sunlight, the lake’s surface reflects the sky, clouds, and surrounding scenery like a mirror.

This photo was taken at the Chaka Salt Lake. In the picture, a wooden dock extends into the salt lake, surrounded by ropes. The color of the salt pool is a light blue, similar to the sky, creating the spectacle of the “Mirror of the Sky.”

Under the sunlight, the lake’s surface glitters like a gigantic gemstone. The sky is a clear azure, and the clouds are as white as snow.
